Putting technology to work for communities
Technology can create opportunity in a classroom, strengthen a community organization and help people stay connected. Our community history brings the same practical skills used in our technical work to projects shaped by local needs.
Discuss community technology
A computer lab in Guatemala in cooperation with Rotary
Through his Rotary service, Mo helped establish a computer lab in a village in northern Guatemala. The project formed part of his longer involvement in community and education initiatives in the region. It remains an important part of the service history behind 55GEEKS.
Structured cabling at Poverello House in Fresno
Our community-project history includes structured cabling at Poverello House, a Fresno organization serving people experiencing homelessness. The project brought our infrastructure skills to a place focused on meeting community needs.
Service beyond a single project
Sahar and Mo’s community involvement includes Rotary, youth mentorship and community media. These experiences connect technical work with a broader commitment to education, access and participation.
